I actually have these songs on MP3 and listen to them often on my iPod! =) And, as I recall, the music used in the ending of this game had such an impact on my musically-talented-cousin, that he actually wrote down the sheet music for it to be played by several instruments (clarinet, piano, flute, xylophone) and we learned most of it and almost finished the whole song, but we didn't. Man, we should have. LoL!

I've played a lot of RPGs (Zelda:ALTTP/OOT/WW/TP), Secret of Mana, Suikoden I & II, Wild Arms I & II, FF I & II, FFVI-FFX) and there hasn't been an RPG that have given me so much nostalgia after beating the game, as the ending in this game did, for some reason. Maybe it just struck the right chord, possibly because of the music used (AWESOME MUSIC BTW) but man, it made me feel sad that the game was over when I beat it. LoL.

totally agree with everyone on this, games nowadays totally don't recognize the hard work it takes to complete them and reward us with an awesome ending like this. I love this game, I think it would an awesome Mario movie...or maybe a mini series.
