After converting my movie file to mp4 in Visualhub and tried the file on my nokia e90 it still did not give me a visual.
Is there some options on visual hub i need to select?

Hey Trent, I wanted to know how to access my e-mail on my e90 and how to download games. Thanks
FILBERT says January 8th, 2009 at 06:36:42
It's more likely that even if you change the extension of the file, the E90 may not play it. So it may be the best bet to just convert the whole format of the file.

I don't think that only changing the extension of a video file name will do anything more than change the default program to open it. In order to truly change the video format, you must convert it via a third party program.

Unfortunately, the E90 is only made to work with the 3G frequency in Europe. In the US you will only have access to EDGE only speeds.

I have another Q. I have alot of torrent movies as you which is a "avi" format I believe, should I just edit the movie file by renaming it mpeg4 or is there additional steps to take? Thanks for your help.

I ordered a 16GB card a few weeks ago, received it last week and so far its working like a charm. That´s why I´m browsing to find ways to convert movies to E90... :o)

Thanks, I was between choosing N95 8GB (3,5mm out, 3d acceleration and 8GB), N96 (3,5mm out, 16GB but no 3d acceleration) and E90 (3d acceleration, huge screen, qwertz/qwerty keyboard, but nokia site says only up to 2GB and no 3,5mm out).
I'm definetly getting E90 now.
Lorene says January 8th, 2009 at 09:17:35
Yes, I have been using a 6GB card for a good while.
Pabla says January 8th, 2009 at 09:40:34
Does E90 support Micro SDHC memory cards?
Alison says January 8th, 2009 at 10:03:33
what you can do guys if you dont have a mac but have windows.
1.Download Real Player and install.
2.When playing streamed videos you have an option to download.
3.Next download a video convertor from websites off google.
4.when installed open the video you downloaded into the convertor then convert the video to mpeg4. as trent says you should get the option to convert the video to the E90 screen size.
5.when converted transfer to your E90, then enjoy nice videos on those long journeys.
:)

Your toy has excellent video quality!
GALVIN says January 8th, 2009 at 11:58:28
Trent,
You don't need to go through the Visual Hub step, you just need to select the correct encoder in Handbrake and it will work perfectly directly from handbrake. Select Codecs: MPEG-4 Video/ AAC Audio and then Select Encoder: FFmpeg and set the video size to 720x320 (same ratio as 800x352) and it will work fine, it will convert a DVD in about 30 to 50% of the length of the DVD, so about 40 minutes.
