There were some who called Madhubala India's Marilyn Monroe. I'd say it would be better to call Marilyn the Madhubala of Hollywood. Just look at Madhu's heavenly beauty and her effortless-looking, in-born gift of acting in a wide range of roles-- from the most vivacious, as here, to the most romantic as well as to the most heart-wrenching, as in Amar.
