Christy Moore wrote the song about the Irishmen who went to Spain to fight against Franco and the fascists during the Spanish Civil War. It has been sung by many singers and groups since.The tune dates back to the Napoleonic Wars according to Christy Moore in his book "One Voice", written in 1983 whilst he was in Spain and inspired by Mick O'Riordan's book "the Connolly Column". The word came from Maynooth: 'Support the Fascists.' The men of cloth failed yet again When the bishops blessed the blueshirts in Dun Laoghaire As they sailed beneath the swastika to Spain. Chorus This song is a tribute to Frank Ryan. Kit Conway and Dinny Coady too. Peter Daly, Charlie Regan and Hugh Bonar. Though many died I can but name a few. O "NOVO" JEITO DE ESPANCAR Vídeo sobre a violenta repressão a nanifestantes de movimentos sociais, sindicais e estudantis que tentavam se descolar até o Palacio Piratini para protestar contra as roubalheiras do dinheiro público no Governo Yeda. A Brigada Militar, sobre o comando do "Coroné" Paulo Mendes, o mesmo responsável pela violência contra mulheres da Via Campesina na Fazenda Tarumã, da Stora Enso, no dia 4 de março de 2008. Usou balas de borracha, lacrimogeneo, bombas de efeito moral e distribuiu muita porrada. Foram aproximadamente 35 feridos encaminhados ao Pronto Socorro, um em estado grave e doze pessoas (a maioria músicos e motoristas dos caminhões) foram presas (políticas) por Desacato, Formação de Quadrilha, Tentativa de assassinato... A manifestação faz parta de Jonada Nacional de Lutas Contra as Transnacionais, promovida por diversos movimentos de todo o Brasil.

4.gardijska brigada "Pauci"

4. gardijska brigada osonovana je 28. travnja 1991. godine u jeku priprema za ustrojavanje ZNG-a, nakon samog početka agresije na Republiku Hrvatsku. Brigada je bila sastavljena od dragovoljaca i veće skupine mladih redarstvenika koji su izašli iz središta za izobrazbu postrojbi za posebne namjene MUP-a u Lučkom i Kumrovcu. 4. brigada je jedna od onih postrojbi čiji pripadnici nisu imali vremena za obučavanje, pa je isto vršeno u hodu tijekom izvršenja zadaća koje su postavljane pred njih. Sve borbene zadaće brigada je izvršavala pod geslom "In hoc signo vinces" (U tom znaku pobjeđuješ), a prvi borbeni zadatak brigade je bila akcija oslobađanja Kruševa, koji je uspješno izvršen u srpnju 1991. godine. Potom su uslijedile obrambene ali i oslobodilačke akcije od Zadra, Sinja, Drniša, Šibenika, Vodica do oslobađanja Dubrovnika i dubrovačkog zaleđa u akcijama Tigar i Vlaštica. Nakon Dubrovnika i južnog bojišta brigada je sudjelovala u operaciji Maslenica koju je kao i sve operacije prije uspješno izvršila. Nakon Maslenice brigada sudjeluje u akcijama Zima 94, Skok-1 i Skok-2, Ljeto 95, a potom u akcijama Oluja i Maestral. 4. brigada tijekom Domovinskog rata nije znala za poraz niti za izgubljeni položaj pa je stoga tadašnji Ministar Obrane Gojko Šušak rekao: "Hrvatska vojska u svom sastavu ima 7 Gardijskih Brigada, sve dobro obučene i naoružane, ali samo je jedna koja je udarna, a to je Četvrta gardijska brigada". U borbi za slobodu Hrvatske poginula su 193 pripadnika ove postrojbe, čije su slike, zajedno s umrlim pripadnicima brigade, postavljene u spomen kapeli vojarne Sveti križ na Dračevcu u Splitu. Brigadom su od njezina osnutka zapovijedali ratni zapovjednici: general Ivo Jelić, general Mirko Šundov i general Damir Krstičević. Mirnodopski zapovjednici 4. brigade su bili stožerni brigadir Ante Kotromanović i brigadir Zvonko Asanović, brigadir Blaž Beretin, a danas je na njezinu čelu brigadir Mladen Fuzul. Trojica od njih su već ranije umirovljena. Preustrojem Hrvatske vojske 4. brigada je postala temelj osnutku nove 4. brigade u čiji sastav su ušli svi njeni pripadnici i dio pripadnika 7. GBR. Vojarna Dračevac je preustrojem označena neperspektivnom, a Četvrta je iseljena u Knin i Benkovac.
